Italian Language Services

Translation – Subtitling – Localisation – Proofreading

English to Italian, French to Italian, Japanese to Italian and Italian monolingual

My guarantee to you

My main goal is to deliver a translation that is as close as possible to how an Italian text should be written.

I work hard to ensure that the text is not only correct and accurate, but also natural. It means that I thoroughly research and study each topic I’m tasked with.

As an Italian translator experienced in working with a wide range of texts, I’m very versatile and always ready to take up a challenge. I’m available not only for translations but also for editing and proofreading, revision, terminology research and compiling glossaries.

In recent years, I have become interested in inclusive and gender-neutral language, and how to convey it in Italian, given that it’s a Romance language with grammatical markers for gender. So, I’ve been studying, reading, and learning new ways of keeping the language neutral without compromising the quality of the target text.

Accomplished Italian subtitler

Over the years, I’ve developed a specialisation in audiovisual text translation (i.e. Italian subtitling).

I’ve worked with some of the leading players in the entertainment industry, and I’m also experienced in translating promotional, corporate and educational videos.

My expertise goes beyond the mere translation of audiovisual content – I can also take care of the technical aspects of subtitling, such as formatting and syncing issues.

You can count on me for help in linguistic and technical QA and QC of your subtitles.

Have you got a video that needs subtitling?
Are you looking for a professional video subtitler
who will prevent your videos from looking amateurish?

I can help!
Send me the video, and you will receive a spotless subtitle file which follows the best practices in the industry (and your instructions!). Or I can just take care of syncing and formatting, if you already have subtitles or text. If you prefer,
I can also deliver the whole video with burnt-in subtitles.

I work with any kind of subtitle file or video file. Just ask!

This service is available in
